Seven in one – Custom Solutions at IAA

Every day, genuine works of art crafted from wood leave Danzer’s Kesselsdorf custom builds studio. Our artisan colleagues are all masters of their various arts. Clients just love the magical effects of our three-dimensional wood surfaces in cars, on yachts and planes, and in high-end architecture projects.

But we only rarely get to see the finished objects in their intended settings, rather than as individual items isolated from their context.

High time to span the experiential gap then! A works trip to the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt was a great team event full of cars with a gratifying amount of wood on display: the outstanding work of Danzer’s Custom Solutions department was brought to life under the spotlights for all to see in the interiors of seven different cars.

It was a particularly satisfying endorsement for those colleagues who spend most of their time in the workshops and rarely come into direct contact with customers: at IAA we saw first-hand what effect our wood interiors have on other visitors, and it was clear that they were a real highlight.

We are proud of and grateful for the numerous appreciative and trusting client relationships we’ve built up over the years thanks to the innovative work of the Custom Solutions team and our expertise when it comes to wood.

We also spoke to one or two other manufactures who expressed an interest in adding wood to the interiors of their vehicles: we definitely recommend that they work with us for the next IAA if they want to get the job done properly. There is still a lot to do!
