Danzer Completes Their European Veneer Service Offering
Czech splicing company Furniertechnik Raspenava becomes part of Danzer Veneer Europe
Dornbirn, Austria, January 2016 – Hardwood specialist Danzer is integrating Czech splicing company Furniertechnik Raspenava into their European veneer operations. The integration will have no impact on existing customers or employees. Both parties agreed to not disclose details of the transaction. Danzer is now able to offer their European customers the choice between raw veneers and spliced faces. Furniertechnik Raspenava’s splicing operations are very flexible with the ability to efficiently fulfil small, customer specific orders. They are also experts for splicing of thick cut veneers.
About Furniertechnik Raspenava
Furniertechnik Raspenava s.r.o. has extensive experience in splicing veneer and serves customers mainly in Central and Northern Europe. The plant was built in 1994; the technical equipment has been continually modernized. It is now one of the leading veneer processing plants in the Czech Republic. The company employs approximately 70 people and produces approximately 160.000 m² spliced faces every month: 50% of the volume for furniture, another large part for doors and panels; flooring lamellas and edge banding complete the portfolio.
