St. Sebastian’s Cathedral, Bratislava

The annual Bratislava Organ Festival stands out as an event that combines classical recitals
with less traditional musical projects that appeal to new and younger audiences. The
recently completed organ at one venue, the St. Sebastian’s Cathedral in Bratislava, Slovakia,
is a festival highlight. Built by the Austrian company Rieger, a world-leading organ builder
since 1845, the unique new pipe organ features Danzer Bird’s Eye Maple, a species that
matches the cathedral’s beauty and speaks the language of our time.
