Danzer Sustainability Reporting (DSR)
The Danzer Sustainability Reporting covers all material topics and indicators required by the UN Global Compact Communication on Progress (UNGC COP) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). "Material" in the sustainability context means topics whose impacts are significant in economic, environmental, financial, and/or social terms, or that substantially influence stakeholders. Data for material topics is maintained in a timely fashion on this platform for full stakeholder transparency.
Introduction from the CEO
"In spring every year, Danzer closes its annual financial statements to assess how the company was doing in the past year. The Danzer Sustainability Report (DSR) has become a similar routine: how did we do in our ESG efforts? Like financial reporting, it provides a yardstick on progress – or the lack thereof.
We have implemented a systematic approach across all locations with teams across all hierarchy levels to improve our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. We have defined objectives and results that we want to achieve. Not all results are easy to quantify, so we have taken the decision to also include objectives that have a qualitative character.
Overall, we are happy with the progress in 2025. We have the ambition to do better, but are happy to report progress in many areas.
We will continue our efforts diligently in 2026 and beyond.
I want to thank the entire Sustainability and Compliance (S&C) team at Danzer and the many contributors to our progress on the shop floor. Without the commitment and dedication of many, many employees, we would not be able to report the progress that we proudly present on these pages.
Thanks again – and I hope you find the information you are curious about here."
