Danzer offers decorative deck layer for engineered flooring (also referred to as wear layer) from European, North American and African hardwood and softwood species. Several years ago Danzer introduced a new and efficient way to manufacture lamellas that fulfilled a long-held wish of the hardwood flooring industry. The precious surface layers for engineered wood flooring can now be sliced with little to no waste; in the past, they were sawn, resulting in raw material losses of up to one-third. Danzer’s patent-protected proprietary slicers produce a high-quality sliced lamella that can replace sawn lamellas in many applications.
With its industrial focus, Danzer can offer large volumes of consistent product.
